◉ Assisted in research performed by Professor Meghan Burchell in the Faculty of Archeology at Memorial University. The research involves the study of various shells in order to develop new techniques which can be used to further improve paleoclimate reconstructions. The lab work involves the collection, identification, maintenance (cleaning, cutting and polishing) and isotopic analysis of shells found in various archaeological sites across coastal zones of Canada. This employment opportunity gave me the necessary communication, organization and team-building skills needed to work alongside a dedicated team of researchers.
