Aurora is a small bucolic village in the Finger Lakes region on Cayuga Lake (the biggest,center “finger”). It maintains a distinctive rural feel while also maintaining an open mind to its many visitors. Tom Gunderson is the friendly and caring mayor. Wells College
Founded in 1868 by Henry Wells (founder of Wells-Fargo), Wells is a small liberal arts college. It’s impressive endowment and alumnae donations allow it to offer a good education with a low tuition.Wells was an all women’s college until 2005 when it ended discrimination against men. This decision led to considerable protest amoung the student body. The college now contains about 70 men and has had the largest freshmen class since 1980 enroll this past year.Wells also boasts a booming gay and lesbian culture and is generally qualified as a very liberal institution.http://en.wikipedia.org…
