Dennehotso is located at 36°50′14″N 109°51′39″W / 36.83722°N 109.86083°W / 36.83722; -109.86083 (36.837286, -109.860884).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 9.9 square miles (26 km), all of it land.
