Enigma is one of the most successful musical projects of the past 20 years with 50 million records sold worldwide, 60 #1 chart positions, approximately 100 platinum awards, and features on over 1000 compilations. It has sheltered the most differing cultures from the most various areas of all the earthly continents in rhythm, sound and voices still to this day. With the intention of creating an “omnicultural” world of sound his creator Michael Cretu describes Enigma as a “self inventing continuity”.
On 5 October 2010, to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the first album MCMXC a.D., Enigma fans were asked to submit vocals for a new Enigma song. The public were then asked to vote, with the winning submission “Fei mea” being provided by Latvian singer FoxLima for the chorus.
The top 3 runners up: Mark Joshua from Brazil, J. Spring fom Spain and Rasa Serra from Lithuania provided other important parts of the vocals like the bridge, backing and verse of the final version of the single….
