Lￃﾳrien is a fictional character from J. R. R. Tolkien’s legendarium, in which he is one of the Valar.
Lￃﾳrien’s “true” name is Irmo, but he is usually named after the Gardens of Lￃﾳrien, the place of his dwelling. He is the husband of Estￃﾫ and the brother of Nￃﾡmo (Mandos) and Nienna.
Lￃﾳrien and Mandos are the Fￃﾫanturi, masters of spirits. Lￃﾳrien the younger is the master of visions and dreams. His gardens in the land of the Valar at Lￃﾳrien, where he dwells with Estￃﾫ the gentle, healer of hurts and weariness, are the fairest place in the world and are filled with many spirits. All those who dwell in Valinor find rest and refreshment at the fountain of Irmo and Estￃﾫ.
