Leonore is a village in LaSalle County, Illinois, United States. The population was 110 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Ottawa–Streator Micropolitan Statistical Area. Known locally as the site of a famous bank robbery. It can arguably be a part of the geographic region known as Streatorland.
Leonore is located at 41°11′22″N 88°58′53″W / 41.18944°N 88.98139°W / 41.18944; -88.98139 (41.189377, -88.981384).
According to the 2010 census, the village has a total area of 0.09 square miles (0.23 km), all land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 110 people, 52 households, and 30 families residing in the village. The population density was 1,279.8 people per square mile (471.9/km²). There were 54 housing units at an average density of 628.3 per square mile (231.7/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 99.09% White, and 0.91% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.82% of the population.
