Little Ferry is a borough in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the borough population was 10,626, reflecting a decline of 174 (-1.6%) from the 10,800 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 811 (+8.1%) from the 9,989 counted in the 1990 Census.
Little Ferry is located at 40°50′40″N 74°02′10″W / 40.844332°N 74.036164°W / 40.844332; -74.036164 (40.844332,-74.036164). According to the United States Census Bureau, the borough had a total area of 1.703 square miles (4.409 km), of which, 1.476 square miles (3.822 km) of it is land and 0.227 square miles (0.587 km) of it (13.31%) is water.
The borough lies near the confluence of the Hackensack River and Overpeck Creek in the New Jersey Meadowlands.
