Port Monmouth is a census-designated place and unincorporated area located within Middletown Township, in Monmouth County, New Jersey. As of the 2010 United States Census, the CDP population was 3,818.
Port Monmouth is located at 40°26′12″N 74°05′55″W / 40.436673°N 74.098641°W / 40.436673; -74.098641 (40.436673,-74.098641). According to the United States Census Bureau, Port Monmouth had a total area of 1.343 square miles (3.477 km), of which, 1.302 square miles (3.371 km) of it is land and 0.041 square miles (0.106 km) of it (3.04%) is water.
As of the 2010 United States Census, there were 3,818 people, 1,368 households, and 997.3 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 2,933.4 inhabitants per square mile (1,132.6 /km). There were 1,441 housing units at an average density of 1,107.1 per square mile (427.5 /km).
