Rolling Fork is a city in Sharkey County, Mississippi. The population was 2,486 at the 2000 census. It is the county seat of Sharkey County.
Rolling Fork is located at 32°54′25″N 90°52′42″W / 32.90694°N 90.87833°W / 32.90694; -90.87833 (32.906893, -90.878348).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.4 square miles (3.6 km), all land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 2,486 people, 820 households, and 620 families residing in the city. The population density was 1,774.2 people per square mile (685.6/km²). There were 875 housing units at an average density of 624.5 per square mile (241.3/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 29.69% White, 69.19% African American, 0.04% Native American, 0.32% Asian, and 0.76% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.97% of the population.
