Corbin City is a city in Atlantic County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the city population was 492.
Corbin City was incorporated as a city by an Act of the New Jersey Legislature on March 11, 1922, from portions of Weymouth Township.
Corbin City is one of several New Jersey municipalities considering consolidation. Corbin City would consolidate with neighboring Upper Township in Cape May County, due to proximity and that Corbin City’s children attend Upper Township schools. There has not yet been any public discussion as to whether or not Atlantic County would cede the land to Cape May. Currently, there are no municipalities within New Jersey that have incorporated lands within multiple counties.
