Port Wentworth is a city in Chatham County, Georgia, USA. The population was 5,359 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Savannah Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Port Wentworth is located at 32°09′52″N 81°10′48″W / 32.164512°N 81.180087°W / 32.164512; -81.180087. Within the city limits are the localities of Meinhard and Monteith.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 16.5 square miles (43 km), of which, 16.5 square miles (43 km) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.10 km) of it (0.18%) is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 3,276 people, 1,285 households, and 896 families residing in the city. The population density was 199.2 people per square mile (76.9/km²).
